EAT – (Everyone At Table)
Serving nutritious meals to those on limited incomes
Every Tuesday at “The Barn” Bandon’s Community Center
Located at 1200 11th Street SW
EAT is a community food program that serves a free meal each Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to 55-65 individuals each week, families, seniors, and singles on limited incomes as well as transients. This weekly meal is served at the Barn.
Volunteers from the Bandon churches cook, serve, and clean up after this meal each work, working side by side in our common response to hunger in our town. The program is funded by donations from individual churches in Bandon, including St. John, as well as other community sources.
This outreach was begun in 2004 by a group of women from seven different Bandon churches, and it operates with volunteers from diverse churches here. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
